A private budgeting app for one household.
Household Finances is a personal iOS app used by the members of a single family to see their shared financial picture — account balances, recent transactions, and monthly budgets — in one place. It is not offered to the public and has no sign-up.
The app connects to our own bank accounts through Plaid. Bank credentials are entered only in Plaid's interface and are never seen or stored by this app. Through Plaid we access account balances and transaction history, which are stored on a private, access-controlled server and displayed only to household members.
We collect financial account data (balances and transactions) solely to display budgets and spending insights to the members of our household. Data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. Bank connections can be revoked at any time in the bank's security settings or via Plaid Portal, and stored data is deleted on request.
